Conclusion of the SUCCESS Project

The SUCCESS (Strategies to Utilise and Cultivate positive Characteristics and Employability Skills in Schools) will reach its successful conclusion by the 31st August, 2019. Since its launch back in September 2017, the SUCCESS consortium (which comprises of six organizations from across five European countries) have set about identifying the key needs of professionals working within the guidance counseling profession and their students, in order to inform the development of the SUCCESS Training programme. The training materials focus upon nurturing and enhancing crucial professional skills (for example, creativity, critical thinking and teamwork) in young people in secondary schools across Europe. It is based on the theory of positive psychology (well-being, strong characteristics and positive emotions). The entire suite of SUCCESS Training Materials are now available online on SUCCESS online platform (https://www.successlearning.eu/) or on the project’s website (https://www.eusuccess.eu/) in the four partner languages and may be of particular interest to guidance counselors, policy makers, educational professionals and youth workers.

ICEP Europe has been delighted to be a part of the SUCCESS team across the life course of the project and would like to extend our gratitude to all who have participated and contributed to the research process over the past two years. The diligence and dedication of our partners has been central to the successful conclusion of the project and we look forward to future collaborations with our friends from each of the five partner organizations moving forward.
