Strategies to Utilise and Cultivate positive Characteristics and Employability Skills in Schools (SUCCESS)
The SUCCESS project is a European Commission Erasmus+ funded research project being conducted by research partners from five countries within Europe, including ICEP Europe in Ireland. The project objective is to address current oversights in European formal education settings relating to the development of students’ social and emotional competencies, such as motivation, resilience, optimism and communication skills.
The goal of the SUCCESS project is to develop a free online training package for post-primary School Counsellors, which incorporates employability and positive psychology skills with a view to assisting guidance counsellors in supporting students who are making the transition from school to employment.
How can I contribute to the research?
ICEP Europe is offering an exciting opportunity for guidance counsellors working in Ireland to volunteer their contribution to this innovative research project through participation in two upcoming focus groups, to be held at the ICEP Europe offices in Maynooth Business Campus on the following dates:
Tuesday January 30th, at 2pm
Thursday February 1st, at 2pm
In these focus groups, guidance counsellors will be invited to share their knowledge and experiences of working in their role. This information will be pivotal to ensuring the relevance of the online training programme in an Irish context.
What are the benefits of participating?
